RetroFire Gas Insert

The RetroFire radiant heat gas insert from Valor represents the most versatile, efficient gas insert available on the market. It is specifically designed to retrofit into factory-built or masonry wood fireplaces where conventional gas inserts cannot, and functions efficiently through a sealed firebox, which eliminates cold air drafts, smoke and messy ashes in your home.

The RetroFire gas insert nestles within your existing fireplace opening, and will not require a front or trim for installation, nor will any exterior work need to be done to your existing mantel or hearth. The RetroFire does come with three different fender/fret options to further accent the unit as well. The Avant Garde fret is pictured above; you may also choose from a traditional or contemporary fret.

The RetroFire gas insert features a standard programmable remote control. The remote will allow you to adjust the flame height for the perfect look and feel for your room; set at imer to turn on and off at any time of day; and let you set the room temperature to maintain your precise comfort level.
