Majestic brings innovation to market with this exclusive Heating and Cooling fireplace! Ideal for smaller homes, cottages, condominiums, motels/hotels or home renovations involving additions where both supplemental or primary heating and cooling is essential.

Majestic has combined the Direct Vent fireplace model DVR36 - (equipped with a rear vent balanced flue system) with a warm air and return air plenum, an air filter and air circulating blower, designed to house a central air conditioning unit of up to 2 tons capacity. (Supplied by others.) The coil cabinet is designed to accept most brands of "A" coils.

The coil cabinet or plenum is also designed to be connected to three separate round supply ducts, as small as 4 or 5" diameter, which would allow for the installation of up to 1.5 tons (18,000 Btu's) of cooling. If using up to 6" diameter supply ducts, up to 2 tons (24,000 Btu's) of cooling may be installed.

The ducting system allows for the distribution of heating and cooling for up to 65' (with 6" diameter duct) from the location of the 36DVHVAC unit.

It operates with the use of a 24 volt thermostat - just like your furnace - to maintain comfortable heating and cooling levels.

As a rear vent design, the DVHVAC36 is best suited to installation against an outside wall or a corner application. However, this unit is also approved for vertical, through the roof installation.
